WHAT ABOUT FOLLOW-UP?

When you agree to have WLS, you need to commit yourself to life-long contact with your bariatric surgeon. Dr. Thomas expects to hear from each patient monthly, in the office or on the phone. We have a toll-free number for patients that live out of town and cannot come every month, and a support group that meets with Dr. Thomas in his office each month. There is also an after-care program with that he requires patients to take part in. We also expect to hear from you if there are ANY problems.
